Mumbai and Bengaluru recorded the comparatively better response, but the numbers in Gurugram and Noida were extremely low, with fewer than 25 tickets sold in each city, as per the report.

The poor opening comes despite the interest surrounding the English version, which was promoted as a shorter cut of the filmThe English release runs for around 2 hours and 57 minutes, making it approximately 17 minutes shorter than the earlier Indian-language version.

The English version also arrived more than a week after the original releaseToxic first opened in cinemas on August 26, 2026, in Kannada, along with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
As of now, Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has earned Rs 241.05 crore in net collections in India, while its worldwide collection stands at Rs 331 crore, according to Sacnilk.
