KPMG expands Tax delivery hub in Kolkata

KPMG Global Services Delivery Platform (KGSDP) has inaugurated a new office in Kolkata for its Tax Business Unit, underscoring the firm’s long-term commitment to the city as a strategic hub for global tax delivery and talent development.

Starting with just 50 professionals in a co-working space, KGSDP’s Kolkata operations have rapidly scaled to over 200 highly skilled experts delivering complex, technology-enabled tax and compliance services to global clients. The city’s strong base of finance and accounting graduates has positioned it as an ideal location for scaled tax compliance and global mobility services.

The new office was inaugurated by Rema Serafi, Vice Chair – Tax, KPMG US, alongside Sameer Chadha, Partner, and Head of KGSDP, and senior leaders from KPMG US, KPMG UK, and KGSDP.
