Kolkata, August,2026,By Rajannya Purkait: A new chapter is set to begin in the digital entertainment landscape of Bengal with the launch of Click Canvas Entertainment, a new OTT platform officially unveiled today at Aquatica Banquet & Resort, Kolkata.
Conceptualised by Click Canvas Entertainment CEO and entrepreneur Prijit Pal, the platform aims to bring together diverse content in Bengali as well as other regional Indian languages, including Nepali, Assamese, Odia and Santali, under one digital platform.
Click Canvas will offer audiences a wide range of Original and Licensed Content, including Short Films, Web Series, Independent Films, Music Videos and Drama, Thriller, Romance, Horror and Comedy across various formats and genres.
One of the key objectives of the initiative is to create a larger digital platform for emerging directors, producers, writers, actors, artists and independent creators, providing them with opportunities to showcase their creativity and connect with wider audiences.
Alongside the OTT platform, Click Canvas Studio has also been introduced to support modern content creation and media production.
The launch event was attended by MLA Shri Lakshmikanta Sau, renowned cinematographer Shri Anupam Haldar, along with actors and actresses associated with Click Canvas Entertainment.
Among the upcoming notable releases from Click Canvas Entertainment are Silence, Indubala, Anto Theke Arambha, Akarshan, By Muskan, Dil Jeet Liya and Mirror.
With a vision to bring India’s diverse stories, languages and creative talent together under one roof, Click Canvas Entertainment embarks on its new journey in the rapidly evolving digital entertainment space.
